31 May Impact Grant Awarded to Youth Baseball League
The Fulton County Community Foundation granted $20,000 to Rochester’s Youth Baseball League, an impact grant allowing the organization to make an abundance of change amongst not only the ballpark, but the community. The funds aided the league in installing new dugouts and fencing along their Major League Field, ensuring the safety of both players and coaches. This new fencing will replace the exceedingly old metal fencing that currently exists along the foul line sections of the field.
Kyle McLochlin, a leader for RYBL, states “Our organization would simply not be able to provide our kids what we give them today without the foundation, it would truly not even be a possibility.”
