06 Apr Starke County Community Foundation Delivers Another Pop-Up Grant!
Another pop-up grant from Starke County Community Foundation (SCCF) has been delivered! Wednesday, March 24th, the Community Foundation surprised their third pop-up grant recipient, the Starke County Youth Club, with a $1,000 grant. The Starke County Youth Club is a significant organization for children and families in our community. Their mission is to provide a safe, enriching environment with positive role models in order to help children love learning and reach their full potential.
This is the third grant in the Starke County Community Foundation’s monthly year-long pop-up grant series in celebration of its 25th anniversary! The Ambassadors Club, a subcommittee created of former board members of the Community Foundation, will choose a non-profit each month whose work they wish to honor with a surprise $1,000 grant.
“Starke County Youth Club has been providing these services since 2001. We hope this $1,000 pop-up grant will help them continue to support families with young children!” said Jessica Martinovic, SCCF Director of Development.
