26 Aug Prairie Trails Club Receives $25,600 Grant
During their monthly meeting on Thursday, August 24, the Prairie Trails Club received a $25,600 grant which was provided through multiple SCCF donor-advised funds including the 1st Source Fund, Hardesty Memorial Endowment Fund, Verhagen Family Fund and the Wozniak Family Fund. According to officials, this commitment helps provide a major portion of the 20% local match required for the recently received Indiana Trails Program Grant awarded through the state Department of Natural Resources.
SCCF Director of Development Jacque Ryan shared, “I am excited we have the opportunity to provide funding for projects that encourage people of all ages to go outdoors and enjoy the natural resources we have in Starke County.” She continued, “It’s so inspiring to coordinate with people who have such a passion for what they do and to see that drive and dedication shine through their projects!”
