Liberty Township Endowment Fund

01 Aug Liberty Township Endowment Fund

The Liberty Township Endowment Fund was created through the Fulton County Community Foundation in 2018 to help better Liberty Township forever. This is done by granting funds to support charitable programs and projects in the area. Funds are made possible by the donations of local businesses, residents, and supporters of Liberty Township. This year, the fund was able to give its first grants.

The Liberty Township Endowment Fund granted $2,500, a significant amount for its first year. Fulton-Liberty Lions Club was granted $1,850 to add an exciting new playground element to the Liberty Township Park. The new “Craggy Pinnacle Climber” will include a three-panel rock-wall and other enjoyable climbing elements. The other $650 was granted to the Fulton County Public Library so that they can continue hosting Lego Days. The grant will be used to purchase several Legos to replace the now borrowed Lego sets. Lego Day is enjoyed by children of all ages, and the library is thrilled to be able to continue providing a makerspace for people to build.
