26 Jun Boomerang Sisterhood Now Accepting Grant Applications
The Boomerang Sisterhood, a women’s giving circle through the Miami County Community Foundation, is now accepting video grant applications from charitable organizations serving Miami County. Applications are due by Monday, August 10, 2026, and can be submitted online at www.nicf.org/2026-boomerang-grant-application.
Video applications provide organizations with the opportunity to share their story in a personal, creative way—highlighting their passion, their people, and the impact of their projects. Videos can be recorded on any device and do not require professional editing. Budget forms must also be submitted through a grant portal.
Grants typically range from $500 to $2,000.
“Every great project starts with a little support,” said Cheryl Broyles, Director of the Miami County Community Foundation. “Apply now and let the Boomerang Sisterhood help your organization’s impact grow!”
Grant recipients will be selected by Boomerang Sisterhood members during the group’s Annual Gathering on Tuesday, September 8.
Since its founding in 2008, the Boomerang Sisterhood has awarded more than $85,000 to local charitable organizations through a combination of membership contributions and an endowed fund that will support Miami County forever.
Membership in the Boomerang Sisterhood is open to women of all ages:
- Ages 8–15: $12/year
- Ages 16–21: $60/year
- Ages 22 and up: $120/year
Members who pay their annual dues by the gathering date are eligible to vote on grant recipients. “When women unite, communities thrive,” Broyles added. “Join the Boomerang Sisterhood and be part of a giving circle supporting local.”
