27 Dec SCCF Ambassadors Club Awards Surprise Grants
The Starke County Community Foundation (SCCF) Ambassadors Club recently awarded a series of surprise pop-up grants to show appreciation to local schools and help them assist with student needs.
North Judson-San Pierre, Knox, and Oregon-Davis Schools were each awarded a $1,000 pop-up grant during the month of December.
SCCF Ambassador Club members Barbara McLaughlin, Dave Altman, and Cheryl Orkis presented the pop-up grant to Knox Superintendent William Reichhart and to North-Judson San Pierre Superintendent Annette Zupin. SCCF Director of Development Jacque Ryan and Cheryl Orkis delivered the Oregon-Davis grant to Superintendent Bill Bennett and Jr./Sr. High School Principal Emily Duvall.
