The Northern Indiana Community Foundation would like to introduce the new Director of Development for Miami County, Heidi Wright. Heidi has been involved with the Community Foundation as a member of the Miami County grants committee for the past year. Before that, she has been an avid participant with community non for profits.
Prior to joining the Community Foundation team, Heidi worked at Family Service Association of Howard County as a domestic violence/sexual assault victim advocate in Cass, Howard, and Miami Counties. With this job she wore a lot of hats and was able to collaborate with many stakeholders in Miami County. A native of Peru, Indiana, she has served on the Miami County Service Council working with a variety of agencies and providers in collaboration with the Northern Indiana Community Foundation.
Heidi is looking forward to meeting donors and to be out and about in the community. She is excited to stay in the community that has shaped her into who she is today and to be able to make an impact in the community. “I am tickled pink to join the Northern Indiana Community Foundation team,” says the new Director of Miami County Development, Heidi Wright. “I have always looked up to Connie Cutler and all that she does and I am overjoyed to be able to work with everyone at NICF,” Heidi says.
