Celebrating 40 years of service to the community and based in Middlebury, Loveway provides therapeutic equine (horseback) riding, teaching the basics of horsemanship and the skills needed to improve the daily lives of individuals with special needs. The requested funding through ECCF allows us to completely replace our current facility fencing for horse pasture turnout. At present we have 17 horses in need of daily turnout to fenced pastures. New fencing will allow for replacement of inadequate or broken fencing to reduce horse injury and allow for the better rotation of our horses, allowing the pastures to rejuvenate and grow.
