For over 50 years, Elkhart Civic Theatre has been performing a wide variety of theatrical entertainment in Elkhart County. From small beginnings as the Elkhart Little Theatre in the late 1940s, our organization has grown to a full-fledged arts organization. Today, ECT owns and operates the Bristol Opera House, a century-old theatre in Bristol, Indiana, where we perform the bulk of our productions: generally four non-musicals and two musicals, plus other special events. ECT has gained statewide and regional recognition as one of the best community theatres in the Midwest. ECCF funding will help support a new light board and new technology for our theatre’s productions.
