At DreamsWork we engage students and their families, providing guidance and assistance to help youths in 4th grade through college graduation attain the qualities, skills and vision they need for successful adult life. Nearly 70% of our students are low-income and from non-English-speaking homes. DreamsWorks helps our students understand terminology, state testing and diploma requirements, and college admissions procedures. ECCF funding will enable us to purchase computer tablets and software for program directors, cover ACT/SAT testing and college application fees, mileage and meals for both 4th-12th graders on college campus visits and for pre-college students for placement testing, and enable us to stay in contact with our college students to help with their retention.
