The Center for Healing and Hope provides urgent medical care and advocacy for the low-income uninsured and underinsured population.
We operate three urgent care medical clinics (two in Elkhart, one in Goshen) for the patient who cannot access traditional health care services due to limited finances. CHH is staffed by 220+ volunteers and a staff of 5.3 full-time employees. The requested ECCF funding would pay for 227 Elkhart patients to receive urgent medical care and advocacy at any of our three clinics. Only 45% of our Elkhart patients are able to make the requested $25 donation for services while it costs CHH an average of $88 to provide medical care, labs, medicines and advocacy.
