Grant: $10,000 (Rapid Response)
AIDS Ministries works to create a supportive environment for children, adults and families infected with or affected by HIV and AIDS. The organization provides free HIV testing, education, and care coordination with offices in both South Bend and Elkhart. The rapid response grant from the community foundation provided funds to replace a water mane in the Elkhart office. The timely replacement of the mane allowed AIDS Ministries to continue their work without losing a portion of their funds to unforeseen repairs.
