Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Applications Available

The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program offers a 4-year full-tuition scholarship to one local high school senior who will begin their college career in the fall of 2012. The recipient must intend to be full time student and pursue a baccalaureate degree at any accredited public or private Indiana college or university. The application deadline is January 27, 2012.

Knox High School Scholarships

AXA Achievement Scholarship in association with U.S. News & World Report is offering scholarships in every state of  $10,000 and $25,000. Apply by December 1, 2011. AXA Achievement Community Scholarship is offering up to 375 winners nationwide scholarships of $2,000. Apply by February 1, 2012. Learn more and apply online at www.axa-achievemnt.com.
The Indiana Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (IAHPERD) is soliciting applicants for their High School Scholarships. Each year the Indiana AHPERD awards four (4) $500 scholarships to college-bound high school seniors. All applications must be post marked no later than January 15, 2012. For additional copies of the Scholarship Application go to the IAHPERD website:www.inahperd.org.
Vincennes University Scholarships and Grants – All scholarships applications will be reviewed by the University for an appropriate scholarship match. For first and full consideration, scholarship applications and admission applications must be received by January 15, 2012.  For a complete scholarship listing, please go to www.vinu.edu/scholarships. Both applications can be found in the Guidance Dept.
Washington Crossing Foundation – Military career? Politically involved? History buff? Scholarships from $1,000 to $5,000 for high school seniors. Deadline: January 15, 2012. For more information, go to www.gwcf.org.
The Mediacom Scholarship Program –Mediacom Communications will award up to 50 scholarships of $1,000 each to graduating high school students attending accredited post-secondary institutions in the fall of 2012. Applications can be found in the Guidance Dept., from Mr. Winbigler, or online at www.mediacomworldclass.com. The deadline for applications is February 15, 2012.
2011-2012 PHP Scholarship Program – Scholarships are available to high school seniors planning to pursue a career in a health-related field. Three scholarships totaling $6,000 are awarded. Program requirements and the application are now available to download. Just got towww.phpni.com and click the “2011-12 Scholarship Program” article on the home page. Deadline for submission is February 24, 2012.

Baker College’s Scholarship program offers qualified students $4,800 scholarships to help finance specialized career training. Fill out a card, located on the bulletin board, for more information about this and other available scholarships. The Baker College Scholarship Committee must receive all completed applications no later than May 1, 2012. There are a limited number of scholarship awards available and all students are urged to complete their applications as soon as possible.

High School Innovator of the Year Scholarship, which is for high school students who have invented something noteworthy or improved a process that affects their fellow students, city, or town during their high school careers. The Lead With Your Heart Scholarship is for students who have dedicated their time to working for the greater good. The award is about selfless service that has made a big impact in their community or beyond. Each scholarship is worth $5,000. Students should apply atwww.cappex.com/scholarships.
The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation is awarding $3 million in scholarships to high school seniors who demonstrate leadership, commitment to community, and academic achievement. The Knox Pop Warner organization is offering a scholarships to provide college funds for Seniors who have previously participated in Pop Warner. The application form is available in the guidance office.
