Culver Community High School Scholarships

The program will provide scholarships for full tuition, required fees, and a special allocation of up to $800 per year for required books and required equipment for four years of undergraduate study on a full-time basis, leading to a baccalaureate degree at any Indiana public or private college or university accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Must be a Fulton County Resident.

Jim Barkman Memorial Scholarship Fund FCCF Scholarship
Established in August of 2003 to provide scholarships for qualified students graduating from Rochester High School, who attended Riddle Elementary School at any time, and who are likely to succeed as college, university or trade school students.
The Melissa Hoffman Gamel Scholarship Fund
FCCF Scholarship: Established in 2001 to provide scholarships to qualified students graduating from Rochester High School and interested in the study of engineering, science and technology.
The Elmer and Beulah Harris Scholarship
FCCF Scholarship: Established in 1998 to provide scholarships to students residing in Union Township, Fulton County, Indiana, at the time of their graduation.
The Franklin and Jane Heisler Memorial Scholarship
FCCF Scholarship: Established in 2006 Students who are graduating Seniors of Rochester High School. Applicant's must show a financial need, be active and involved in school, work and the community and display good citizenship.
Amanda Kay Ramsey Memorial Scholarship Fund
FCCF Scholarship: Established in 2006 by the family of Amanda Kay Ramsey to provide scholarships to Fulton County residents who are majoring in radiology therapy, respiratory or cardiopulmonary therapy or nursing.
Howard M. Utter and Helen Pike Utter Scholarship Fund
FCCF Scholarship: Established in 2000 to provide scholarships to qualified students residing in Indiana.
The W.D. Cumberland 4-H Scholarship
FCCF Scholarship: Graduating seniors from Fulton County and graduating from Rochester, Tippecanoe Valley, Caston, or Winamac High Schools and who are likely to succeed as college, university or trade school students.

FCCF Scholarship: Seniors graduating from Rochester High School who are deserving of financial assistance and who are likely to succeed as college or university students.
Jayne Ann Good Memorial Scholarship
FCCF Scholarship: Graduating senior girl who plans to attend a 4 or 2 year college.
Nelson W. Sadler Scholarship
FCCF Scholarship: RHS seniors who plan to enroll in either Purdue short course in agriculture or a 4 year course in agriculture or agriculture related career.
Russell L. & Pauline Whittenberger Sparks Memorial Scholarship
FCCF Scholarship: Graduating seniors who enroll as full-time student in an accredited 4 year liberal arts college or a college of arts and science.
Rochester Firefighters' Memorial Scholarship
FCCF Scholarship: Graduating seniors from RHS, in need of financial assistance and likely to succeed as college, university or trade school students.
Stephen Fellers Memorial Scholarship
FCCF Scholarship: Graduating RHS seniors pursuing a 2 or 4 year degree at a business or vocational/technical college.

Angele J. Kochenderfer Memorial Scholarship
FCCF Scholarship: Graduating RHS student who is hearing impaired, ranked in the top 20% of their class, has financial need and must have attended all 4 years of high school.
George M. Schwenk Memorial Scholarship
FCCF Scholarship: Graduating RHS students who are pursuing a career in the field of agriculture or agriculture related career.
Union Township Scholarship
FCCF Scholarship: Student must have been a resident of Union Township, Fulton County, for at least 2 continuous years.
Coach John Robert Mckee Memorial Scholarship
FCCF Scholarship: RHS graduating seniors who are likely to succeed as college or university students and have participated in any RHS football or wrestling program.
John Nelson Memorial Scholarship
FCCF Scholarship: For students residing in Aubbeenaubbee Township or Rochester Township, graduating from Culver Community High School or Rochester High School. Graduates must maintain a "B" average during their High School career and continue their secondary education in the field of education and teaching.
Frounfelter Scholarship
FCCF Scholarship: Applicants must have attended RHS for a least 4 years, graduated in the highest 20% of their graduating class, and have a "B" average or above.
The Harold E. & Neva Funk Mikesell Scholarship
FCCF Scholarship: Established in 1997 to provide educational scholarship support for eligible persons, as advised by the Mikesell Scholarship Committee.
The American Legion 40 & 8 Scholarship
One scholarship to a student in either Fulton or Cass County who is pursuing an R.N. or higher degree. The amount awarded is $500, which may be renewed their second year in school. Applications are available in the guidance office after January 17, 2007. Due Date: March 2, 2007
American Legion Aux. Scholarship
Graduating seniors attending college or vocational schools. Due Date: February 16, 2007
Dorothy & Paul Arven Memorial Scholarship
Graduating seniors who reside in Fulton County and are planning to enter nursing or study agriculture.
Charles & Elizabeth Babcock Memorial Scholarship
Graduating seniors who are entering college, business, or vocational school. Due Date: April 13, 2007
The Center I.O.O.F. Scholarship
Graduating seniors from Rochester High School who reside in Richland Township or anywhere north of the Tippecanoe River. At least one $100 scholarship will be awarded. A resume is required. Due Date: February 23, 2007
Si Deeb Agricultural Scholarship
Graduating senior boys and girls planning to pursue a 4 year, a 2 year, or a short course. Due Date: February 23, 2007
Amanda Drudge Scholarship
The amount of this scholarship varies and the number of awards varies. A letter of recommendation from the student's pastor is required. Applications are available in the guidance office after January 17, 2007. Due Date: March 16, 2007
Eagles Lodge, Golf Committee, Aerie, Aux. Scholarship
Graduating students planning to attend a 2 year or 4 year college. Due Date: February 16, 2007
Fulton Co. Farm Bureau
Fulton Co. high school seniors whose families are residents of Fulton Co. and a member of the Farm Bureau. Due Date: March 16, 2007
Fulton County F.O.P.
Graduating Fulton County senior. Seniors applying must be majoring in law enforcement. The scholarship will be awarded after successful completion of the first semester of college. A resume and budget sheet are required. Due Date: March 16, 2007
Fulton Co. Girl Scouts
Graduating senior girl who is or was a registered scout in the Fulton County Service Unit. Applicant has to be a scout for at least 4 years. Due Date: March 16, 2007
Fulton Co. Pork Producers Scholarship
Graduating senior who will take the Purdue short course or a 4 year study in agricultural related career. Due Date: March 23, 2007
Fulton County REMC Scholarship
Seniors whose families are REMC members.
Roy Haggerty Memorial Scholarship
Graduating seniors who reside in Fulton County and will enrolled at IU or one of the IU regional campuses. Due Date: February 16, 2007
The German Club Scholarship
The German Club is offering a scholarship to a senior who plans to continue his/her study of German within two years of high school graduation. The student need not pursue a major or minor in German. The recipient of the award will receive the scholarship upon successfully completing one German course within two years of high school graduation. A form, which lists eligibility requirements, is available in the guidance office after January 17, 2007. A committee of two teachers and one administrator will select the recipient. Due Date: February 23, 2007
Kappa Kappa Kappa Sorority
Kappa Kappa Kappa Sorority awards both a college scholarship and a business or vocational school scholarship. The college scholarship is an award of $2,000 paid over the normal 4-year college span (in other words, $500 per year). The business or vocational award is for $500 paid in a lump sum at the beginning of the next school year. A resume and a budget sheet are required for each scholarship. Three recommendations from teachers and community acquaintances are requested. Guidelines for making an application are available in the guidance office after January 17, 2007.
Kiwanis Scholarship
RHS graduating seniors, must have attended RHS at least 2 years of high school, including senior year, and must have "C" average or better. Due Date: March 23, 2007
Irene Paltz Scholarship
Applicants must have attended RHS at least 2 years and must be graduates of RHS during the current year. Due Date: March 16, 2007
Psi Iota Xi
Graduating seniors pursuing a college major in speech and hearing, music, literature or art. Due Date: February 16, 2007
RHS Alumni Scholarship
The Rochester High School Graduates of the following years: 1935, 1942, 1943, 1944, and 1945 are offering two scholarships to two Rochester High School graduates who are entering the medical field.

The Rotary Club of Rochester will present a $250 scholarship to a prospective or current nursing student who resides in Fulton County. The candidate must be working towards an RN degree. Due Date: March 16, 2007
R. Wayne & Virginia Bryant Smith Scholarship
RHS graduate enrolling at Manchester College.
William A Smith Memorial Scholarship
Awarded by the Manitou Moose Lodge 1107. Two $500 scholarships will be awarded to daughters and sons or grandchildren of Loyal Order of Moose and Women of the Moose members of Lodge 1107 and Chapter 1684. These scholarships are available to high school students with a "C" or better grade average for the purpose of attending an accredited college (4 yr or 2 yr) or accredited technical school. Applications are available in the guidance office after January 17, 2007. Due Date: March 2, 2007

Majoring in criminal justice field.

Must attend IVY Tech in Elkhart, South Bend or Warsaw. Students studying Mfg. Ind. Tech, DesignTech, Recreational Vehicle Service Tech, Electronics Tech or Interior Design.
Harrington Scholarship
Must have had orthodontic treatment from Dr. Harrington.
Beacon Credit Union Scholarship
Family must be a member of this credit union.
Northern Indiana Quail Unlimited Scholarship
Must take some college classes in Biology, Botany, Conservation, Environment or other related fields.
Roy Haggarty Memorial Scholarship
Must attend IU or one of the regional campuses.
Jack Vananken/North Central Co-Op Scholarship
Must be an active member in 4-H, having completed at least 5 years, or 2 years in FFA or have parents who are members of the North Central Co-Op.
Minority Teacher Scholarship & Special Ed Services Scholarship
Must be black or Hispanic. Must seek a degree in Sp.Ed. or Occupational or Physical therapy.
Robert Byrd Honors Scholarship
Must have a min. 1300 SAT or 29 ACT.
SSACI Nursing Scholarship
Must show financial need & agree to work as a nurse in Indiana for at least 2 years following graduation.

Amanda Kay Ramsey Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established in April 2003 by Patricia M. Hoover to provide scholarships for qualified graduating seniors from Tippecanoe Valley H.S. enrolled in an accredited state nursing program. Preference will be given to applicants pursuing an RN Degree.
Careers In Agriculture Scholarship
High School Seniors, based on scholastic achievement, leadership in agriculture, and contribute to agriculture in the future.

Fulton Co. Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program
The program will provide scholarships for full tuition, required fees, and a special allocation of up to $800 per year for required books and required equipment for four years of undergraduate study on a full-time basis, leading to a baccalaureate degree at any Indiana public or private college or university accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Must be a Fulton County Resident.

Fulton County Community Foundation non-traditional scholarships

The Fulton County 4Community Scholarship
This scholarship is for GED students who are are accepted into an accredited college, university, trade or vocational school in Indiana. Deadline date is August 8, 2008.
 
Back Home Again in Indiana Scholarship
This scholarship is for non-traditional students who live in Fulton, Miami or Starke County. Deadline date is August 8, 2008.
 
The Ginger Miller Higher Education Scholarship
This scholarship is for college graduates pursuing graduate school or professional school. Deadline date is September 8, 2008.
